why are people supernaturally healed when they are prayed for and by using faith they are healed ? why ? how ?

The bible is indeeds the word of the living God. Its always true and true and true.

Science is nothing more than a way of thinking, of reasoning, of deducing and incuding. It's a form of logic and it was around long before the bible, in the minds of scattered farmers and other people who tested and investigated and improved upon things.

So don't say that there wasn't any science at the time of the Bible. For one thing, have you ever heard of Archimedes? Aristotle? All those very ancient Greek (and Roman) philosopher-scientists?

umm Archimedes and Aristotle were wayy after the bible. The bible was thousands of years in advance.

Let me give some scientific statements that the bible claimed thousands of years in advanced ! (until thousands of years after that scientists made this discoveries, but the bible claimed it first !

Job is one of the oldest books in the bible. It is the same age as genesis. This is what it says about the earth. :
1)He stretches out the north over EMPTY SPACE. He hangs the earth on NOTHING." (Job 26:7) ... look at a picture of the earth in space ..it seems to be hanging on nothing right ???


2) The wind goes toward the south, and turns around to the north. The wind whirls about continually, and
comes again on its circuit." (Ecclesiastes 1:6) - modern science now knows this is what the wind does.

3) this scriptures referring to the earth as bieng ROUND and NOT FLAT as ancient greeks thought ="It is He (God) who sits above THE CIRCLE OF THE EARTH, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers . . ." (Isaiah 40:22)


4)this scripture is referring to atoms and how its the simplest form of matter ! = "Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust on the scales. Look, He (God) lifts up the isles as a very little thing." (Isaiah 40:12)

5) this scripture speaks of springs deep beneath the oceans = "In the six hundredth year of Noahs life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the FOUNTAINS OF THE GREAT DEEP WERE BROKEN UP, and the windows of heaven were opened." (Genesis 7:11

This are only some but the bible is filled with scientific claims that modern science will prove right !

This scientific claims were made way in advance before this Archimedes and Aristotle were even born ! so many years later modern science discovers what the bible claimed thousands of years in advance !!

You can infer generalties from specifics, but when you infer specifics from generalities, you're far more likely to err in interpretation.

All your Biblical scripture are either generalised statements that you're intrepreting to more specific outcomes, or they are statements which certainly could be interpreted in ways other than your particular interpretation. And that's always been the problem with Biblical prophesy and scripture, which is why today there are dozens of established Christian churches that all say their interpretation of the Bible is the "correct" one!

so what your saying is if a sign says "stop" written on it , it could mean several things. It could mean "go" right ?? thats according to your perception of reading and understanding the english grammar. ?

5)Depression can be harmful to your physical health (Proverbs 17-22) .statement made in 950 - 700 BC

6)Air has weight =Job 28-25 (statement made in 950 BC or earlier)

7)THE WATER CYCLE /Hydrological cycle =Job 36:27-28 and Amos 9:6 (statements made in 950 BC or earlier 755 BC)

8)All things are made up of sub-atomic particles that are invisible to the naked eye =Hebrews 11:3 (statements made around 64-68 AD)

9) Modern communications, perhaps even satellite television broadcasts Rev. 11:7-11 (About 90 AD)

10)Mountains and deep valleys exist on the ocean floor =Job 38:16 and Jonah 2:5-6 (statement made 950 BC or earlier)

i woudnt call him ignorant if i were u . Do you even know what the bible says about this things or are you blatantly telling every1 who gives a logical discussion that there ignorant when you dont even know what the bible specially mentions about certain issues ? They are not ignorant for one thing since they know this REAL ISSUES and why they are happening the way they are. They have explanation and evidence to support but you dont have any ? yet you call them ignorant ?

The Bible itself cannot be used as core evidence as we humans seek it.

Evidence is defined as what you can observe somehow directly with your 5 senses. Yes, the evidence may be written down but it must be verified.

If others can't verify what is written in some shape or form using our 5 senses, then it is unverifiable evidence.

Much of what is written in the Bible is too vague in verifiable details. Yes, the stories are elaborate and rich in detail but not the kind of detail where experts can go out and check out the story enough to really confirm whether it's true or not.
