I am amazed that no one shares my conspiracy theory [or do you] in relation to the targetting of Robbie Savage in the game against N.Ireland. Two things we all know are that Robbie is quite easy to wind up and N.I. have less than no chance of qualifying from the group. With this certainty in mind, it is obvious that N.I. are going to do anything they possibly can to help their lords and masters, the country to whom they owe their very existence, England. What better way to achieve this than to get our midfield feather ruffler banned from playing against them in the next game. So they sent in Michael Hughes to do the job. His outrageous jumping double leg wrap of our blonde bombshell can only be construed as a violent sexual assault for which he should have received a lengthy ban. You could forgive Robbie for trying to have a go back but he barely had the chance as his aggressor floored him with a follow up push/punch. With this 'little helper' plan in place, we can safely assume that by the end of the return game in Belfast, there won't be 22 players on the field.
