I take the overall sightings as something very interesting. But I'm not sure the media has all the facts straight just yet.
I've seen only one mention of a "tail" out of all the people who have seen it and if I recall, the story came from a cop reiterating another witness's sighting, which makes it second hand and coming from a probable skeptic. I'd have to read back over the articles to be sure I'm right on that.
The media is going to jump on anything that will downplay it being a bigfoot so I am still not sure it actually had a tail. I think the report of the elementary school monkey that was cornered a while back is playing into the story opinion as well.
I'm waiting to see what happens next.
