Can't seem to make my computer operate tonight so I may have double posted this. Anyway, I will be at the BBQ. Any further info on the actual location?
It is going to be held at Broken Bow Lake in Beaver's Bend State Park off Hwy 259 just north of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The Carson's Creek camping area is what we are shooting for. I plan to get there early that Friday to try and grab some good campsites.
Do you think it would be OK if I brought my laptop and my DVD of Legend Meets Science to the BBQ? Maybe someone who hasn't had the chance to see it would like to.
I had thought of bringing a small TV and VCR just incase someone wanted to watch a video of that program, but the DVD would be so much better. I also have the new "Sasquatch" DVD I can bring if anyone is interested in watching it as well.
I'm coming to the BBQ, I figured I'd bump this up and let you all know so you will have enough food LOL.
I think I'll be there Saturday, I'd like to get there Friday and spend the night but I'm not sure about that yet.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone(And maybe Bigfoot LOL).

The BBQ is only a few weeks away now. I have had a few new people interested in joining our group who have said they plan to attend. I hope all or most of our current members will be there so they will have a chance to talk face to face with those they have not had the chance to meet yet.
I don't expect those who live too far off to be able to make it, but do hope they can. We do have a couple of members who live a ways off from the event, one of which is actually in Mississippi.
I think it is going to be a good event. No pressure and just a chance to talk with others and meet new people, and even make new friends. Hope to see you there.
