Name: Tim Brazeau, I haven't decided what to use as a nickname, if anything.

Immortalent and low grade healing factor (can regenerate limbs and organs but would likely take a couple years or more, so destroing his brain/heart would pretty much kill him.) He discoved that he can regenerate organs when he went in for his second apendectomy. 8P

the phrase "Jack of all trade, master of none" is very applicable to him, unfortunately so is "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing".

He has a pet firelizard (he was part of the survey team that checked out Pern), I was originally thinking of an Alspinian Mini-drag, but then I realized most customs agencies would object to the presence of such a dangerous creature.

Still trying to decide what, if any, transport he has.

For what it's worth, most customs agents wouldn't know if you didn't see the need to tell them. Minidrags exist in one of two places - on their home planet, out in the jungle, where they are but one of many bizarre and lethal animals, and as individuals following around their bondmates. Those folks have a vested interest in keeping the more lethal talents of their partners hidden until and unless they become immediately applicable, and don't generally go showing them off much. The spiral is a big place, and there are a hell of a lot of strange creatures in it, most of them less obscure than that.

Now, customs on significantly darker, grittier, more violent worlds (cyberpunk variety) might know about them, but they're the type that might let you through anyway. Why frisk you for weapons when blasters are for sale cheap on the street outside?

Heh. Is it just me, or do most of our charas have some form of extended lifespan? Tim and Drake are both immortal, and even Nate's a bloody -brain-, they live for centuries.

Oh. Pink Panther sort of fun, hmm?

If they recognize it. Judging by canon, the only place where people know enough about Minidrags to give them their due respect is Alaspin itself - everywhere else,
they're scarce as hen's teeth.

Going between metagates doesn't take anything impressive - there's substantial evidence that fighters can do it, if you're willing to endure being stuck in the cockpit for that long. In a fighter, you'd also be restricted to pretty short hops - refueling, you see, and recharging the enviro systems.

Something in the Stock Light Freighter zone would be a better bet.

Well what do you expect, this whole project was inspired by UF, and look at all the immortals there. 8)

Not that bad, more of thinking he knows more than he does, or confusing things that an expert wouldn't. He's basicly an amateur everything. 8)

on second though, maybe you're right....

>Something in the Stock Light Freighter zone would be a better bet.<

That was my basic line of thought as well. lets see, I once made up a correllian light frieghter for a Star Wars rpg that never took off (pardon the pun). The Falcon's series though obviously not as heavily modified. 8) Maybe I'll revive that ship and crew it with various old PCs....

Actually my original concept for Drake was that he was just the scion of a 'dynasty' of political/military bigshots. Then I thought of tying him to Center from David Drake and S.M. Stirling's The General books. And then I decide to bring in Whitehall himself anyway so that went by the wayside. The actual immortality was dragged in from a World of Darkness fan supplement.

Drake is immortal (almost), with the twist that he isn't really all that keen on it (he's outlived a dozen or so wives, which was kind of hard on him) but he CAN'T reasonably commit suicide - all it does is leave him in considerable pain for years or even decades.

My avatar's got worms *snort*.
(insert appropriate look of 'wtf' from Dumb and Dumber)
Kessen-chu, I mean (Sacred Bloodworms from Blade of the Immortal). All because he talked before thinking. The bloodworms are more of a curse of immortality actually, and they only go away after the cursed person has fulfilled a stipulation that was given when they were acquired.
