Here's a fsmailiar story: I've been typing into the post-a-message scfreen for... three or four hours, off and on, as things come to me, then manage to hit backspace right after accidentally clicking outside the input panel. NAturally, Windows (May it never be sufficiently damned) decides that I want to dump the fields and go back to the ppreceeding page in the browser history. The will of the hyperbeings is clear. There shall be no aardiness in the Shining Spiral.

Hey! Stop cheering! ;)

Easy way to avoid that problem:

Use your handy-dandy text program to type it all up, then copy/paste onto the posting feild.

But I feel for you. Its done that to me just after I fininshed up a humungous post. I had to go cry for a while before I could come back and type it all over again.

I on the other hand, get distracted by shiny objects and wondering what would happen if I lit off my hyperdrive while going through an existing hypergate.

Well, since the hyperspace is lifted out of Babylon 5, I presume it would do the same thing that it does there: release all the energy being used to sustain the two gates in one very large explosion.

I certainly hope it does that. The VANG depends on that theory.

"Gun? What gun? _This_ is my remote control." *sound of heavy, heavy machinery moving* "_That_ is my gun."
