blowing off steam - as in, ranting

My mind is screwing with me, my body is screwing with me, it's one of those weeks where you wish you hadn't gotten up Monday morning and continued not doing it for the rest of the damn ... ahhh ...

... well, aside from Real Life throwing me tripwires, like a bout of nasty flu somewhere in the 37/38 deg celsius range of things happening at the most inconvenient date possible (I had stuff to _do_ ... for my courses even ... grr), and parts of the faculity and student body here in Berlin going on strike (I'm too annoyed to name reasons here. They're good ones, but the guys end up pissing off exactly the wrong people with their actions. Namely the students!) and several of the uni's buildings being locked down by protesters a few times a week (sucks, pisses me and others off, I mean, where the _fuck_ are we going to do the required programming if the machines in the PC pool are Sun terminals and we need to make stuff that runs _there_ not at home ... grrr) ...

... my mind seems to be in flux in creative matters, oscillating between work on In the Know (very little, throwing out concepts scrapped within the five minutes afterward as being too over the top), work on my Ranmafic (in limbo, but I got some good time in on Friday.), insisting I ought to do something with the Dragon Highway concept that one Metroanime shared with us in an OMAKE once (despite knowing I have too much to do besides that, I find myself considering and scribbling ... argh! bad! bad! finish what you start! finish what you start!), and throwing me shreds of Spiral text to put down in a vaguely coherent manner.

I find this annoying, since I have yet to master multitasking on that level, and am still on medication to beat down whatever mutation of the flu I got stuck with _this_ time (unlike the one from two and half weeks ago).

Add to that the fact that I have to convince a prof not to kick me from her course because of a host of really dumb mistakes I made on one of the tests (come on, don't say a mishap like _that_ never happened to you) ...
