Yeah, I saw the TK40 stuff, and it looks pretty interesting in a good old-fashioned pulp way.

It was actually a post over there that got me to thinking about Spiral again, actually. I don't remember who it was, but somebody was cautioning against going overboard with fiddly detail and used the Spiral as an example. That got me to thinking about how to scrape some of that fiddly detail *off*, in an attempt to save the core concept involving Vast Apocalyptic Space Opera.

If there's a little interest, I'll share my notes.

I'm still there, and puttering along slowly, but between college and two jobs plus working on the GDM I have very little time.

I'm still hanging around (been a while since I last checked in though).

I never did get far with any of my ideas. *sigh*
