The Appalachian Mountains Bigfoot Reasearch Team, at no point, has ever discussed the "selling of video documentation or casts" for the purpose of getting rich. The profits from selling such documentation would be minimal at best. Documentational value would greatly exceed monetary value where any evidence is concerned. Should a individual or group choose to sell cast reproductions as a means of generating research funds, that would be their perogative. Eventhough this concept has been discussed, the idea dissapated due to lack of interest. Being that this is "amatuer research", and is funded mainly from the pockets of the individual researchers, who wouldn't think of ways to generate funding to make research more effective.
However, a stance of "no involvement" was reached concerning one research case. This decision was made due to the fact that the individuals, apart from the A.M.B.R.T., had somehow come into the ideaology that they were going to make a large sum of money solely from the documentation and events taking place. Where this concept was derived, is not known.
Anyone involved in Bigfoot research knows that it is very hard to "get rich".
