hmmm... seems to have gotten me plenty of attention lately. I tell people who I'm dating and they think it's kinky. I think it's amazing, dizzying, and powerful, how I feel for this girl... wow. But I figured I'd get some mixed responses w/ a title like this. oy. anyhow, Here's the poem I just wrote her:
Normal
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I sit in my eighth hour
And all I can think is you.
You said you wish this was "normal"?
Last night when youcalled on your cell
But aside from that whole boy-girl thing
I think we're doing quite well.
Your touch is something magical
Your face a beautiful sight
I measure the time of each passing week
Against the distant Friday night.
I look forward to our nightly calls
Just hearing about your day
And how you can always make me think
And see things in a new way.
I always have a blast when your around
Giving me s**t w/ your irresistable smile
But I also love the sense of security
To curl up in your arms for a while.
All of this was so unexpected
Truely a 'beautiful surprise'
And I marvel at the fact that I'm w/ you
Everytime I look in your eyes.

Not a bad poem. I can't I'm big on love poems, or that I relate to lesbian love(i dont mean it in a bad way I just really dont relate to that...) I have however written a few mushy love poems and this is most likely better then I would ever write one. All in all its a good poem, and if you havent given it to her, do so. It is a more personal poem that has some of your feelings and how you respond to some things she may have said... and that is an important thing to give someone you love. I dont know her knowing your stand point on others oppinions is an important thing.
