| Lone Camper's thoughtsOctober 6 2004 at 10:12 AM | ME |
| A lone camper,
Out at night,
The river beside,
The earth beneath,
Thinking...re-thinking...choices
Chilly wind,
Penetrates cloth and skin,
A shiver downward,
Reality touch,
Disturbs...frustrates...rude
But the river flows,
Stimulant to thought,
Hypnotic rythem,
Dreams are born,
Sacred...cherished...private
A twig in hand,
Snaps unnoticed,
Mind adrift,
Somewhere out there,
Distant land...distant dreams
Cold ground
My bed this night,
Log wood
My pillow,
Reality...dreams...now
Some questions
Best left alone,
Some dreams best left
As just that,
“Dreams”
You and I,
Worlds apart,
(slumber takes over...its your bed I lay)

| Poem for a friend | October 6 2004, 1:31 PM |
Alone
At Peace
Loving Myself & all creation
No need for ringing phone
constant companionship
external validation
The desert teaches
gifts with wisdom
reveals unbounded beauty
Everything in it's place
Perfect, complete,
just as it is
Childhood
distorted truth
concealed wisdom, denied love
The hurdle to be overcome
the confusion to be resolved
brought me to this place
Where I find peace
Love
the freedom be alone
So now I can accept another
give and recieve the love
within us all
Appreciate you
Love you
Just as you are
And loving you,
leave you to awaken,
to love yourself
To choose with wisdom
she who can travel with you,
and who you can choose to love.
