taking it slow,

the road's a little dull,
unclear and vague,
got off that track
a couple back,
hack don't know what the future holds,

I can't wake to ends this dread,

Values close at heart,
confront worldly values,
morals are at stake,
families maybe be sacrificed,

All because you chose the money,
too weak to refuse temtation,
you're sooo gone,
wish I never knew wrong could this sweet,

Didn't know a choice to save,
could mean this much sacrifice,
a part of humanity dies,
and grows cold,
as values are debated between heart and mind,

Is there ever a winner?
Should never have strayed from the path....
