Thats really my original question. What is it that makes something dirty? Is there anything that defines the cross-over point? Or is it purely in the eye of the beholder. We seem to be able to tell easily enough when we look at someting if its art or not...
I'm not a very strong church goer...but heres a little thought of my own (tingting t'sol)
I reckon what is dirty and what isn't can be determined by using the bible as a guide...there's also the "conscience" to listen to. In every human being who has a fully functional mind, there is this basic spirit to do good, for example, if you saw a little kid fall into a well one would natrually reach out and catch the child,
If we take time away from all the hussel and bussel of city life, the line will become clearer...

art is art. it can be anything. that's including erotic. those images can be read as porn, but it's art. anything that is written or drawn on paper is art. Have you heard a story about a 13year old who was smoking marijuana at school and got busted by a female cop? well from there he went on and drew an image of himself blowing off that cop's head. He was then taken to court for that, but wasn't charged, because it was a piece of artwork. It didn't happen in reality. Art is anything that is written or drawn on paper!
