- If any of you men out there get an e-mail from some girl named Christy Sanko, beware. It is a new variation of an old scam. I am sure you all have seen by now the e-mail letters stating that someone has some secret information about some money in a bank somewhere, but in order to get it, they need to transfer it into someone else's account. Namely, they want your bank account information. Well, only a moron would fall for that trap, right?
However, the variation sends you an e-mail that simply states that this young lady has read your "profile" on line some place (unidentified, of course). She says it was very sweet and she thinks you might be just the guy she is looking for. She begs you to write and tell her more about yourself, including likes and dislikes.
You are flattered, or maybe curious, so you write back.
The next e-mail, she sends you her picture and tells you a sob story of how her father, a high government official, was killed during a civil war in her country. Fortunately, she and her brother escaped and are now living in a refugee camp. She encloses her picture. She is beautiful with the best set of knockers on her that I have ever laid eyes on! She asks you now to reply. She wants to learn more.
You reply.
The next e-mail has another picture of her. It is even better than the first. This time the message, among other things, has the following lines:
"Please listen to this information and please keep it secret from anybody's hearing for the main time, i have my late father's death certificate here with me and i have information that my father deposited some amount of money in a leading Bank in Africa which he used my name as his next of kin, the amount in question is $3.7M(Three Million seven Hundred Thousand United states Dollar) only."
"Please tell me your decision because our condition of surviving here is too poor and if i do not get out of this messed up placed, my body system may conterminate uncureable sickness. Please call me through the Rev Father's telephone line : 00 221 695 8635"
Haa.ha.ha! Give me a break!!!! I wrote back commending them on their nice try. It is probably some dude writing from his prison cell. I told him to next time eliminate the clothing from the woman, work on he English, and to also drop the part about using a computer to surf the web while in a refugee camp. (I want everybody to be successful, no matter what their endeavor.)
I hope that it is really not true...a sucker is born every day. Be careful out there. A man's ego and curiosity can be dangerous, especially if he starts thinking with the wrong part of his anatomy.
