CNN.com had a story up today that says Michael Gambon is the new Dumbledore, and Gary Oldman is Sirius. I'm not overjoyed with either of these, but what the heck. At least Gambon's a respectable actor who will presumably go for his own take on the character, rather than trying to 'replace' Richard Harris, but he's not at all how I see Dumbledore. My sister thinks Oldman is 'icky,' and is not happy about that one. I've never seen him in anything, so I'll try to keep an open mind. I think it's weird, though, that Lucius Malfoy, who is one of the most despicable characters in the books, is going to end up being the biggest Sex Symbol in the movie series.
