Sitting in a Barnes and Noble with 31st ed. "Complete Price Guide to Watches" open, Authors Tom Engle, Richard E. Gilbert, Richard M. Gilbert, Cooksey Shugart
... pg 1059 shows picture of
"ROLEX, 25J., Oy., Pet., Chr., RF # 1025, c.1964
note the triangles on bezel, band 14k"
It's got those equilateral triangles on it, all right.
Also, a little google-work brings me to a similar triangle-faced bezeled Rolex.
There's a section for comments in the link above, in the area of the description of the watch, and it says "Unusual model in triangle bezel design."
Trouble is, both of these watches have linked bands, whereas the one I'm considering for purchase does not. Perhaps the one I'm looking at in the store used to have one, or had a different leather band.
Anyways, finished searching the Rolex section of Complete Price Guide and saw no other triangle-adorned bezels...
Looking forward to the picture, T. Thanks a million.
