Response to Steve as you know I am as fond of gold Rolex as you are, however

It was none of my business to add my comment about the bracelet. And of course the crown is very replaceable. As for the dial - a non original diamond really doesn't matter on a yellow or white gold as they are very easy replaceable. But if someone wanted an original big diamond PT piece they are gonna find it really hard to find one. If I owned it I'd put a nice blue enamel from a WG in there.

The watch is no means a basket case - It can be made real nice real easy - and knowing who the new owner is I know for sure he knows what he's doing.

And anyway I promise everyone again I have zero agenda or motive. but it is nice to be discussing watches again. there seems to be so little of it any more.
