it was a watch with a lot of later replacement parts.
Now you brought it back to what is probably close to the original delivery
state. That this was assembled by you someone else wouldn't notice...
For the collectable value, if you don't tell the assembly it would give a higher price than with the story, but there are a lot of watches around where these stories are untold.
For wearing the watch it sure gives you the satisfaction you managed to collect all the needed parts to put into this state, which is far higher than the "value gain" achieved by the assembly.
