OT More cars on a rainy day...

This last Saturday night Los Angeles was very wet. On Sunday morning it was still raining and I didn't know if the event was on or off...but some brave souls came out in time to meet some sun and show off their passion. The Best of France and Italy happens every November...the weather cut cars and people by half...but still a respectable event...though several times my shoes actually hydroplaned in the muddiest sections of the park. It's just an open event...no prizes...no admission fees...just people gathering with their cars.

Some of the cars would have been just average cars for their day...taxis, cop cars, middle class go to work cars...others were more for the landed gentry and movers and shakers...and one seems to be made almost entirely of rust but it drove to and from the event under its own power and the engine sounded strong.
