So has anybody handled the new Explorer II in the metal yet?>>>

If so, what are your impressions?
Would like to see a black dial version (if there is one) before judging too harshly but so far it does not knock me out. A bit of a mish mash of design styles IMO. And a another very large watch at 42mm. In fact, my first impression is that compared to this new Ex II, the modern Milgauss is looking better and better.
But then, there is a reason why I really only like Vintage Rolex.
