Thank you Mr. Ireland, well put. Unfortunately my purism can only extend as far as my wallet will let it, so Mr. R may be out of the question. The watch is unexceptional, but very clean and quite nifty, I think. It just irks me to have to unscrew it to wind it. Fair point on the Rolex service update to screw-down, but these are the same people who won't sell me a bracelet clasp, only the whole bracelet, and have turned the Datejust into a swiollen, Barry Bondsian nightmare.
