... you can't have a guarantee.

So it remains a matter of individual knowledge how Rolex delivered the original surface finish in the different parts.
Knowing the exact way of original polishing and phasing means you have handled a significant amount of unpolished cases of that specific aera which - especially for new collectors - is hard to achieve.
Even though reference stickers are available to buy for me a nice sign of most probably unpolished is an still existing reference sticker on the caseback in not too good condition wink.gif
