Hi there everyone. I'm new to this forum so I kind of need some help. I just got a 1952 Oyster Perpetual off the bay. The watch needs a bit of repair to get it running again. The watch looks to be 100% original except for the crown. Of course it needs a cleaning and a crown and maybe the crystal. I also don't know about the crystal. The crystal looks to large compaired to other ones I've seen.
Anyway my question is, should I replace the crown with a replacement one or find an original Super Oyster crown to keep it looking original? I know Rolex replaces the crown with a new treaded tube.
