and this watch appears to fail that test..however,it could possibly be a mixture of bad lighting and slightly off angles..but,based on these pictures alone I would pass on it.
I do however feel that the label FAKE is being thrown around way too often these days.
there have been incidents in the not to distant past where a certain style insert was deemed fake and countless pieces of Rolex history where destroyed,thrown away,etc..only to find out a year later that the item was actually a rare varient..that just shows you that we should always keep the front door unlocked in the world of vintage Rolex.
