Would love to hear other opinions on this. Also, if this is a 1016 dial on a 5500 body, what would be the reason for doing that? Because the old dial looked like crap and a replica would be hard to find or too expensive?
I'm amazed that a reputable shop would sell something like that, when it's so easy to look under the lugs and see that it's not what it appears to be. Seems like people like you guys, who know better would be blacklisting the shop/giving them bad reviews and it wouldn't make it worth it for them.
