to wear them, don't buy anything expensive. You won't enjoy the watches because you will probably worry about dinging or scratching the case. Many of the people on this Forum are investors and don't wear their watches very often or at all.
Prices today are very high and a lot of the "stuff" is junk. I wear "every" watch I have and if I get a ding I don't worry. Most watch cases are polished so I don't put much credence in lightly polished, thick lugs and the other stuff people say when selling. One thing I want in a watch is a perfect dial, all original, no scratches, luminous's in tact, etc. Also remember you can't wear box and papers.
