Response to Opinions concerning a Datejust

an asthetic perspective...I think the dial is very nice, very crisp...the whole look of the watch and bracelet is very clean...it will go with anything at anytime. The dealer does not have a lot of feedback, but what he has looks good...and the other watches he sells also look honest thought this seems to be one of his better offerings. He is out of the US...but that is not bad in itself.

The second two tone watch just doesn't feel/look as together...no lum dots on the dial...it all just seems cobbled together as if Rolex said "now let's do one like this." Also not that much feedback but I like his selection of other watches more. And he is in the USA...but that doesn't mean he is better than the other dealer. This dealer says the watch has been fully service...but then he says it is sold "as is" and I find that confusing...he's saying the watch has been serviced but it has no warranty...but you can return it within 14 days.

In the end...after giving both very quick exams...I would put my own money on the first watch from Korea. And if I bought either of them, I would still give them a trip to my own watch maker for service and water pressure test and new gaskets and seals.
