      Even after 50+ years, the radium on my 6205 (and others, like 6202, 6538) still faintly glow. You might need to be in a completely dark room with eyes accustomed to the darkness for at leat 15 minutes to see the glow. Not glowing would be more suspicious, but not definitive. Glowing radium would be more evidence that it is not a recent re-dial.
