      This "Pre-Production"(whatever that means, sounds like an explanation
      of why a 1952 watch has Everest on it) is the first >1952 but
      earlier than III.53 that has Explorer on the dial that I have seen.
      I thought common wisdom was that Explorer didn't appear on the dial
      (post 1952) until III.53

      Just saying...
