  • Question about 18Kt 16808 crystal retaining ring

      I recently had occasion to remove the bezel from my 16808 for the first time. I was surprised to see that the retaining ring was steel, not gold. Is this correct and standard?

      I also noticed after the last service by the RSC in SF that the crown tube is steel (the crown is YG).
      Is that standard also?
