Submariner with crownguards reference 5512 & 5513!
It was for a long time in production and in many different versions. I focused on 5512/3 this afternoon and as some came on the table, the 'simple' design of this toolwatch makes it very addictive to me.
I had to make a picture and while it, the same questions spinned in my head: When is enough, enough??.......
No one can top you two anyway! Maybe you should compare the size of your.... to see who wins (sorry for that)
Anyway, you're both crazy, but I like crazy... Here in Holland we say that one can fill canals with ordinary people so I'm glad there's still a few colorful people around

You've to check out the 2 serviced dialed Big Crown (6200& 6538) when wee read the condition rapports carefully, 1 x serviced Military
and one 6263 PN with Rolex service papers.
Now look closely at the service papers of the PN, they say: '...Dial poor, blistered, peeled..' and now look back to the picture,
it's nice and crisp, tata ....and that for only 837,97,= LOL!

When your goal is only to post to promote your blog, do something with it!...

or don't meantion it. write for instance about the auction vieuwing, make some detailed scans (by the way, do you have a camera you can use your own?) so that's worthwhile to have a look again on your blog. That will Imho make it worthwhile meantioning. I've look 2-3 times on it since you've it online, it's still the same allthough I've seen you here on VRF a lot, so what's up, where the passion? I think to know that you've learned something new in the meanwhile you could share...
You guys need serious help!!!!! But I love you....

collector. What a collection. I can see from all your posts and pictures of Rolex watches you are a very, very, very, passionate collector. The best to you.
Another great shot and it shows some interesting crystal variations...

...I can recognize service Tropics and domed originals but also one or two with high "sides" protruding from the bezel a bit...
...and one very high sided almost chimney Tropic--a 39 maybe?
Anyway, I am working on a bit of a theory about the possibility of different dome shapes of vintage Tropic 19, so maybe you can tell me which xtals you have mounted on these watches and their origin if you happen to know...when you get a minute between all your other excellent research, of course!
Best regards & congrats again on such a stupendous collection,
Tom
P.S. That high sided Tropic 19(?) is what I have on my 5513 and it caused some controversy when I first posted it several years ago...
...still not 100% sure of it but I like it! FYI, it was sourced from Australia.
they are even better. I am lucky to have seen most of them live. I especially love the SYL with underline. That has to be one of the coolest watches on the planet.
I know i have bothered you to death to sell it to me, and I know now how ridiculous I must have sounded LOL.
