One of the rarest Rolex related artifacts in the world!

Someone asked the ref number of my Tudor DD and I had to take the bracelet off to find out which led to digging out the tool box which led to dragging out the babies for a Saturday morning romp. In the process of immortalizing this august occasion in pictures I realized I was in the presence of an artifact so rare that only one other exists in the world.

Yes, it's the VRF coffee mug! One of two prototypes made as part of a feasibility study to market junk to the Membership all bearing this spiffy VRF logo. Cups, hats, t-shirts, polo shirts, thongs and other rare and beautiful items.

Fear of the Mothership (Rolex) brought this capitalistic enterprise to a halt but the VRF Board is considering it's options in allowing the vintage Rolex world to partake in this extravaganza of VRF branded schlock.

Without further ado...the mug!

A terrific mug, if we can only get past the trademark infringement case! If you do, I'll take two...

Of course, we must incorporate this elegant French beer can holder!

November 8 2009, 11:29 AM

...I'll look into having a tiny thong bearing the logo of the mighty VRF made for this sophisticated vixen who performs her beer can holding duties with that just so touch of French elan! happy.gif
