DeepSea bracelet discussion - why did Rolex not make a 22/24m oyster? I suggest Omega Mesh

I am really enjoying a Deep Sea, but am using an Omega mesh dive band (20mm of course).

[if anyone wants to direct me to an extender/extra link, please do wink.gif]

the Omega Dive Mesh band is very comfortable and stylish.

The oyster bracelet has really met its match with this heavy head. I do not understand why Rolex did not want to 'engineer' a thicker bracelet for this watch. It would be so much more balanced and wearable with a 22 or 24mm.

How cool would it be to be able to wear a 24mm Panerai strap with the DeepSea?

IMO the whole Omega is a far nicer watch.

I just am partial to the romantic look of the submariner case (on my wrist).

Awesome watch indeed,

deep sea

i like the deep sea but at the same time i need to agree that the bracelet was not the best decision - its a big chunky dive watch and they should have done something un-rolex like which is give you an alternate bracelet or rubber / heavy leather strap for good measure

Good call - a Rolex OEM Rubber strap would have been ground breaking.
