He's exactly like me except he's rich, young, and a musician [I'm just a bass player, lol].

Some singer guy who used to post tall stories >

December 17 2009, 7:46 AM

about his moody P.N watches that he paid allot of money from a once well respected dealer. He even asked to have Texas dials renamed as Mayers, and guess what? It very nearly caught on -well for for a bit anyway.

Never understood why a 'real' guitarplay wanted to be named after a 'fake' dial ;-)

December 17 2009, 8:34 AM

&

'once well respected dealer'

It's controversial Steve i know but I personally think he's doing ok in 'watchworld' at the moment,
him & Evan pushing AQ to that higher quality / service level that collectors want nowadays. I hardly
see any 'bad' watches in their auctions anymore...that's a great sign! at least to me wink.gif

So if he made a few honest mistakes. Have you guys NEVER made any mistakes in your time collecting watches? Never ever?

thanks for sharing, Tom.

I like the thought of opening a watch-roll each morning, and letting a watch be the inspration for your day...
