Sun is shining and she is back from Rolex service.
I think it is time to share my favourite watch with you

It is a Dream for each of us vintage passionists to find a one Owner watch, which is original and authentic in every detail.

Often there are little things, that make it special, as an old box.

..with some sticker..

.or an old booklet..

The watch comes as full package, sold 1971 in Chile, with a 2.5 Mio serial.

Proudly present the most amazing Dial Rolex ever used in their watches.

It is pure, it is design and at least it is totally sexy

I changed the look while the Rolex service with a bakelite bezel, and hey, it´s a complete different look I LOVE it.

Matthias sweet watch ..One thing I noticed as well..

September 20 2010, 6:24 AM

That many 6239, 6262 and 6265 owners are putting on the 6264-6263 bezels and vise versa.

Even at auctions one can find the owner selling the two Daytona bezel option as part of the package.
That is a neat deal because, the change is an easy fix and one can have one look for a while and change when one gets tired of it.

I meet one owner who changed his 6240 black bezel for a 6265 version because he liked the "shinny bling look" as he put it. Of course he kept the 6264 bezel.

I guess one can look at it as if a GMT owner wants an all black insert instead of the blue and red.
Neat watch, Arthur

Thank you Arthur....Yes I think...

September 20 2010, 6:31 AM

...the two bezels change the look of the watch totally.

I wear the PN for 3 years with it´s original 6262 bezel, now it is time for the bakelite look....

Best

Exactly! All is needed to change the bezel is a razor blade, clear tap and a bezel press..

September 20 2010, 7:08 AM

One can even reuse the crystal if the watch will not see to much sweat or rain.

Total time, ten minutes bezel change was my record so far. happy.gif
