Man this sucks for the novitiate when buying a 1019..hard to tell if you are new to the 1019 parts game.

I have seen the reproduction movement protector before, but the caliber plate protector is a fist.

what a shame...

Are parts for the 1019 still available from Rolex ?
Dials, hands etc ?
I am looking for a 1019 but most of them that are for sale have dials that have deteriorated or hands that need restoring.
Maybe the one's that appear to be in good condition have fake hands etc !
