Well whoever it was......

February 7 2012, 6:59 PM

........is this to remain a limited edition or is there any chance of a general release to the public?! I for one would be willing to pay good money for a mug like that. Really nice! I guess the question that needs to be asked is one any vintage watch owner faces.....to immerse or not to immerse?!

And here's the other side...

What concerns me is that the "L" is a bit off centre - aftermarket?

I have to hold my hands up to this one.. glad it vexed you for a while Tony.
Apologies to the Rolex aficionados if any positioning/lettering is off, I don't own a Rolex (I know, I know - don't flame me) :0)

No worries Tony

February 22 2012, 5:03 AM

The main Rolex logo on the back-side, I got that from online, as a vector file, so I presumed it was lined up properly. Interestingly the script lettering on the 'mock dial' side I had used a serif font to closely mimic that found on a real dial, but I think it was got 'lost' a bit in the printing process. I presume it can't handle the really fine details.

Anyway, glad you like it - I know you like your coffee as much as your Rolexs.

It's actually pretty close...

February 22 2012, 5:05 AM

And depending on the dial could be spot on.

I'm drinking from it right now, by the way happy.gif
