Hello everybody. I have a question regarding a ref 1600 datejust I'm looking at. Seller sent me some pics and the dial threw me off a bit. The Datejust text is a bit "square" (A and S) than other examples I've seen and it's also a bit chipped in the SE area (scruffy marks on datewheel as well). Is this something to be concerned about? DJ dials seem to be easy to find but it ought to affect price, right?

Also, what would you estimate the value to (NB! Head only)? It seems to be in decent shape but two of the lugs looks to be polished down a bit. I have no pics of inside of watch...

one like it was discussed here a while back but i cant recall the outcome

but there looks as if it is a damage at the 4 index and if case is polished (depending on how much)i would wait for a better one or not pay to much

perhaps i can give the seller a call, that usually ends well, ha ha ha ha

regards
christian

Comparing it to Jacek's 1600 sold not long ago it lacks a bit. Hmmmm.
