A red 1680 is something I've always wanted but never seemed to be able to find one that looked like NOS until last Friday when I spotted this...
Didn't take long to make up my mind and I took delivery of this old boy yesterday.
I love the vintage look, just can't deal with stuff that looks like it's been soaked in Guinness, run over by a truck and left in the smoke-house to dry.
This one doesn't fit into said category, it is as sweet and minty as they come. The matte dial makes you want to cry, it's like the day it left the factory.
Lume plots the colour of the the Cornish clotted cream you put on your scones, red SUBMARINER fat and sharp, silver date wheel, open 6s and 9s, original matching pearl, the list goes on..
