What you need at the end of a hot day is a cold Guinness

May 25 2012, 12:46 AM

http://www.delaneys.com.hk/delaneys_kowloon.php

You dont want any of that weak english beer, you need a pint of the ' good' stuff to put hairs on you chest and then it burns them off again.

Its been  10 years since my last visit, and they only had the Kowloon bar back then just of Nathan Road and I think it was the only Irish pub in HK at the time.

As I recollect it was a great pint of really cold Guiness, very rare as Guiness doesn't always travel well and decent bar food, should you feel the need for contental beer.

When you are next in Singapore another notable pint was  the 'foot' of Guinness in the Long bar at Raffles  if they still do it well worth a try, see if you can drink the 'foot' in one go or at least not getting any of it all down the front of you

all the best

regards

John
