In your post below you mentioned you haven't asked your watchmaker for the reference number of the Omega crystals you use on the DJ. I'd really appreciate knowing that information as I want to put one on my DJ. Great post!

Thanks.

but they are not easy to just go and buy off the shelf. My guy knows a guy who knows a guy and it can take forever for me to get them. You may well have better contacts - I will try and find out for you though,

Best,

Steve

Could you also find out the diameter? Bought a bunch of Omega crystals recently and I'm curious!

Tropic 25-29 works too.. hard to find...I think the outer diameter is 30.4mm or 30.5mm NT

I bought 6 crystals as well from Omega, and non really worked on the 1803. Tried to have my watchmaker try every single one, but no luck.

Thanks in advance, Steve!

21 Fit???

June 28 2012, 6:24 PM

I guess the 21 does fit. Only problem is it is so widely faked for the Daytona, and the price is outa sight.
And that the Omega crystal was a perfect fit, and very cheap and authentic.

And the only way to order a crystal is by the model # inside stampted on the caseback.
