Most likely it is a dress watch, but without seeing the pictures we won't know for sure. The numbers don't tell us much. They should, but they don't. Even with karat gold Rolex cases, we can't tell much from the numbers. One reason is that comparatively few were sold, so the watch might have been in the jeweller's case for a long time. Another reason is that there were a lot of options to mix and match. You like this dial and that case and voila! to make a sale, it was done.
So show us pictures of the dial at least. Preferably also the back of the watch, the inside of the caseback and the movement if you can. |
