rain in tahoe/truckee area today

Went to pick up a watch today. Was 101 degrees when I left home and going over the sierra nevada it was beautiful. I was ecstatic when I got this watch! The whole way home I was unable to quit looking at the glossy dial. Then I hit the sierra nevadas coming home near Donner Lake and it started pouring rain, 5 inches per hour rate! I had to stop my car and wait for it to stop raining so much but looking at this dial through the war marks on the crystal made me smile anyway. Here it is...
