Looking at it with the eyes of a novice... August 15 2012, 10:56 AM
There is no doubt, it certainly is a beautiful watch, but looking at the dial archives, shouldn't the small minute markers be all the way to the edge of the dial?
Judging from the photos, they don't seem to be touching the outside (the rehaut?).

Just for fun can I try? August 15 2012, 4:28 PM
Assuming it's a Mk IV dial...The printing on ROLEX looks off..maybe too thick. And the numbers on the bezel seems wrong, specifically the 4 and the 6.
I'm learning so I'd appreciate being told if I'm wrong! John (Login BeaumontMillerII) 188.8.131.52

I have "concerns" about the dial. The coronet is wrong for a MK IV, V, or VI dial. The centering of the "L" under the coronet is all wrong. The centering of the print at the where it says "Superlative Chronometer ... "is all wrong. Its a sad day.
