Vintage shops in Palm Springs and San Francisco?

Hi, all. I'm traveling to Palm Springs and San Francisco for work, and I'd love to go see some vintage Subs. Anyone know some good places in either of those cities?

I think Fourtane (I might be spelling this wrong) is awesome... It's in Monterey though, which isn't terribly far away.
