I have the following loose Rolex and Tudor guarantee certificates in my collection, and would be delighted to reunite a watch with its original paperwork.

If you have a Rolex or Tudor watch which you think I may have the papers for, please e-mail me with the full serial number and model reference, and I will confirm if the paperwork matches.

This is a wonderful idea.

If this list/thread gets significantly large (say a few hundred serials) I'd be happy to turn this into a searchable online database.

I'm hoping that one day, papers for two of my pieces will show up in a thread like this happy.gif

Wow, what a gesture and what a gentleman!!!!! I wished my

January 11 2017, 4:44 AM

missing certificate with serial number was on that list!!! A long shot or lottery of course, but none of the 3045XXX series appear there! So, I will keep wishing for now!! Someone might get lucky. Thanks for the opportunity just the same!!!!

VERY cool of you

January 11 2017, 10:22 AM

and this has a personal feeling for me. my house was robbed a bit before Christmas and the thieves stole a lot of stuff that has zero value to them ie vintage Seiko/rolex bracelets. they ripped through some watch boxes and for a few days, I thought they stole the papers to a few watches..the one that hurt was to my red sub.

I found them DAYS later in one of the piles of stuff they tossed onto the floor. the boxes for my GV and LV were destroyed, but I found those papers in a different pile.

so good on you mike! can I try on a milsub yet? muahahahaha....

If the watch matches the papers will you

January 11 2017, 7:04 PM

Depart with the certificate??? It is very noble of you coming up with the idea. Surely someone will become very happy. I believe my papers would have either been destroyed or sitting in someone's attic

If i had your datejust paper...

January 12 2017, 7:50 AM

then i would hand it over FOC.

If I had the paper to your Paul Newman and that was going to add 5 figures to your watch I would expect some sort of a negotiation happy.gif
