Hi everyone, its my first post here and i hope i did not break any rules.
Got this 1016 couple of years back when i am getting into vintage rolex. Got it check by a local watchmaker who told me everything is original but after reading so many post here, i am starting to think i bought a lemon. The thing that got me thinking is the the lume still glows after exposure to light.
I have a few other vintage rolex and the lume is dead ,no glow at all. Comparing it through a eye loupe, the texture seems the same to me. Can all the expert here please help me? I tried to take some close up as best as my phone would allow me.

Tritium series Dial like the one you have do have lume that still can light up in the dark, though only for a short while.
I have this EXACT same series Ref.1016 and it still lights up. Cheers!

Shouldn't tritium be able to glow on its own? Mine under a few secs under light will be able to glow for a while, never time it before.
