Hi,

Have you ever heard about a 20mm elastic rivet band, with 58 endlinks, rivets as on a european band but no 7206 stamp, and usa clasp dated 71 ?

Does it exist or a Frankenstein ?

Thanks for the help

Must be a Frankenband

Does it have small(USA) or wide (Swiss) middle links?
Are the links solid (Swiss)or hollow (USA)
7206s without that number do exist up to 1963, but certainly not 1971...
A picture would make things clear immediately!

Hi, early 7206 (non elastic) rivet bands don't have >>>

the 7206 stamp on the first link. The proper ref for swiss elastic is 6636

As for if it is US or Swiss band, the 3 elements of each link are the same size , whereas the Swiss band has the middle element on each link wider.

The clasp could have been replaced with a US type..

Best
