Hi,

I have a question regarding my 6263 412xxx case Sigma dial (no red Daytona).

A lot of sellers consider it is a 1973 or 74 production, some others consider it is 1976 or 1977 (79 even).

If i refere to Dayto booklets (part of some full sets) on some dated from 1977 we still find pictures of the dayto without the red inscription.
So it seems to be logical to consider the Sigma dial on 4 million cases can be frm 77 or 78.

So i am bit confused.
For you guys, 4 millions cases are wich years ?

Thanks

the 6263 produced between last 3.950.000 and 4.137.000 are in that period can be dial :

Sigma NO DAYTONA ,
SIGMA + DAYTONA ,
Only DAYTONA without Sigma ....( only between 4.137 and 5.5)

because is the period of change dial ....

i think production period is for 70% produced in 74 and 30% probably later
but people often believe 77, because also if produced in Rolex before ,
often consigned to the shop 6/12 months later and often not sold , but sold years later ..
So probably many peoples confuse date of warranty sold in shop with date of real production in factory
