She had surgery today to try to repair the nerve damage to her face. What was temporary paralysis turned into a permanent thing. I will wait to contact her hub until tomorrow to see how everything went. She wanted me to make sure I said a hearty hello to all the gang here. Lets pray for some good news!

Thanks Norene. I haven't been in touch with Susie for quite a while, but often wonder how she is. Let's all hope the operation is a sucess. I've sent her an 'e-card'.

Susie here. I am home! It was a three hour surgery that went well. ( I was in 23 hour after care. ) I must eat pureed food for 3 weeks - no chewing. I look like roadkill! LOL I am very fortunate as there was no pain (There is little sensation in the right side of my face.) or nausea. Onward and upward!

I wrote Chuck, but Susie answered. She sounds upbeat...not lost her sense of humor about the way she looks with black stitches, a black eye and pink and blue brusing. I felt terrible not to have kept in better touch. Thanks for alerting us.
